Bromelain
Apoptosis Inducer
Bromelain is an apoptosis inducer derived from pineapple stem that exhibits anti-inflammatory properties. It functions by down-regulating plasma kininogen, inhibiting Prostaglandin E2 expression, and degrading advanced glycation end product receptors, alongside modulating angiogenic biomarkers and displaying antioxidant activity in the COX pathway.
