C12FDGlcU

GUS Probe

C12FDGlcU is a lipophilic analog of fluorescein di-β-D-glucuronic acid and serves as a specific probe for β-glucuronidase (GUS) detection. This reagent facilitates the visualization of GUS gene expression by entering cells and undergoing cleavage by β-glucuronidase, resulting in the release of fluorescein, which exhibits a yellow color and green fluorescence (Abs/Em: 495/518 nm). Its applications include monitoring gene expression in various biological research contexts.
