Promotes Migration
C18 Ceramide-1-phosphate (d18:1/18:0) ammonium salt is a bioactive lipid that promotes cellular migration. It has been shown to enhance the migration of mouse bone marrow-derived multipotent stromal cells and human umbilical vein endothelial cells at concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 5 µM. Additionally, C18 Ceramide-1-phosphate (d18:1/18:0) levels are elevated in CFPAC-1 pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells compared to pancreatic cancer stem cells, making it a valuable tool for studying cancer biology and cell migration mechanisms.
