C22-Ceramide

Sphingolipid

C22-Ceramide is an endogenous bioactive sphingolipid that targets the sphingolipid signaling pathway. This compound has been shown to reduce the formation of C16-ceramide channels in isolated rat liver mitochondria and liposomes, indicating its role in mitochondrial function regulation. C22-Ceramide is valuable for research in cellular signaling, metabolism, and the study of lipid-mediated cellular processes.
