Calmodulin antagonist-1

Calmodulin Antagonist

Calmodulin Antagonist-1 is a selective inhibitor of calmodulin (CaM), designed to hinder calmodulin-activated calcium-dependent phosphodiesterase (PDE) with an IC50 of 66 μM. This compound also exhibits competitive inhibition of trypsin-treated Ca2+-PDE, showcasing an IC50 of 560 μM in relation to cyclic GMP. Its ability to modulate calmodulin activity makes it a valuable tool for investigating calcium signaling pathways and their implications in various biological processes.
