Cariporide (mesilate)

NHE-1 Inhibitor

Cariporide (mesilate) is an inhibitor of the Na+/H+ Exchanger 1 (NHE-1). It effectively reduces high glucose-induced expression of monocyte endothelial cell adhesion and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) by blocking NHE-1 activation. This compound is valuable for research applications focusing on glucose metabolism and inflammation-related pathways.
