Celestine Blue

Electroactive Indicator

Celestine Blue is an electroactive indicator utilized in DNA biosensors. Its strong adsorption on spinel phases and carbon nanotubes enhances dispersion, and it acts as a capping agent for the fabrication of spinel-decorated carbon nanotubes. As an efficient charge transfer mediator, Celestine Blue significantly improves capacitive behavior, and TiO2 nanoparticles doped with Celestine Blue can serve as labels in sandwich immunoassays for detecting the hepatitis C virus (HCV) core antigen.
