Cilazapril hydrochloride
ACE Inhibitor
Cilazapril hydrochloride is an orally active prodrug that serves as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor through its active metabolite, Cilazaprilat. It effectively reduces plasma ACE activity, leading to decreased angiotensin II formation, which can alleviate hypertension and improve cardiac function.
