Complex 3 effectively inhibits the proliferation of several pancreatic cancer cell lines, including BxPC-3, AsPC-1, PANC-1, and WI38, with IC50 values of 0.74, 0.41, 0.62, and 2.06 µM, respectively. Additionally, it induces lipid peroxidation, mitochondrial rupture, and apoptosis, while also disrupting cytokine-cytokine receptor interactions in AsPC-1 cells. In vivo, Complex 3 has demonstrated efficacy by reducing tumor volume in an AsPC-1 mouse xenograft model, making it a valuable tool for cancer research.
