CTAP-1

Monovalent Copper Ion Probe

CTAP-1 is a monovalent copper ion probe that selectively binds to Cu(I), effectively inhibiting photoinduced electron transfer and enhancing fluorescence emission. This reagent provides copper-dependent perinuclear staining that colocalizes with mitochondria and the Golgi apparatus. CTAP-1 is ideally suited for imaging intracellular pools of Cu(I), facilitating studies in cellular copper homeostasis and related biological processes.
