D-Ribose-L-cysteine is an orally active cysteine analog that enhances intracellular glutathione (GSH) biosynthesis, thereby improving cellular antioxidant capacity. This compound exhibits memory-enhancing effects and can reverse Scopolamine-induced memory impairment through the inhibition of oxidative stress and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity.
