Dabcyl-QALPETGEE-Edans

Sortase Substrate

Dabcyl-QALPETGEE-Edans is a synthetic peptide substrate specifically designed for the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) detection of Sortase A (SrtA) activity. This compound features Edans as the fluorescent donor and Dabcyl as the quencher at its respective ends, with a central sequence that contains a conserved motif recognized by SrtA. Dabcyl-QALPETGEE-Edans provides high sensitivity in vitro, facilitating accurate measurement of the half-maximal inhibitory concentration of SrtA for various biological research applications.
