Deltamethrin

Insecticide

Deltamethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that primarily targets the nervous system of insects, leading to paralysis and death. It induces oxidative stress, resulting in inflammation and apoptosis, notably through the inhibition of the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway. In addition to its applications in pest control, Deltamethrin exhibits potential anticancer activity by promoting apoptosis in cell lines. Its efficacy in various biological research models makes it a valuable tool for studies in toxicology and pest management.
