DNP-X acid

Amine-Reactive Building Block

DNP-X acid (6-((2,4-Dinitrophenyl)amino)hexanoic acid) serves as an amine-reactive building block utilized in the synthesis of molecular probes that can be specifically recognized by anti-DNP antibodies. Its exceptional amine-reactive properties also make it a suitable fluorescent resonance energy transfer (FRET) quencher when paired with tryptophan (Trp) or tyrosine (Tyr). This compound is valuable for applications in biochemical assays and immunological research.
