EFdA-TP tetrasodium
Nucleoside RT Inhibitor
EFdA-TP tetrasodium is a potent nucleoside reverse transcriptase (RT) inhibitor that serves as an immediate or delayed chain terminator in RT-catalyzed DNA synthesis. It effectively inhibits HIV-1 RT through multiple mechanisms. Additionally, EFdA-TP tetrasodium possesses an alkyne group, enabling it to participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc), making it a valuable reagent for click chemistry applications in biochemical research.
