MMP-1/MMP-3 Inhibitor
F81-1144b is an inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases MMP-1 and MMP-3, exhibiting IC50 values of 5 nM and 29 nM, respectively. This compound effectively reduces serum and hepatic triacylglycerol levels, diminishes very-low-density lipoprotein-triacylglycerol secretion, and inhibits de novo hepatic fatty acid synthesis. Additionally, F81-1144b lowers serum insulin and glucose levels, making it a valuable reagent for research related to hypertriglyceridemia and metabolic disorders.
