Flubendiamide

Insecticide

Flubendiamide is an orally active phthalic diamide insecticide that primarily targets insect ryanodine receptors (RyRs). This compound induces muscle dysfunction, paralysis, and mortality in insects by disrupting critical physiological processes such as molting and metamorphosis. Additionally, Flubendiamide promotes oxidative stress and alters calcium homeostasis, contributing to adipogenesis and the regulation of adipocyte differentiation. Its multifaceted biological activities make it a valuable tool for research in insect physiology and pest management.
