FP802 dihydrochloride

TwinF Interface Inhibitor

FP802 dihydrochloride is a potent TwinF interface inhibitor that effectively disrupts the NMDAR/TRPM4 death complex. This compound demonstrates significant neuroprotective properties in the 5xFAD mouse model of Alzheimer's disease, mitigating cognitive decline, preserving neuronal integrity, and reducing amyloid-β plaque accumulation. Additionally, FP802 dihydrochloride prevents motor neuron loss, lowers serum neurofilament light chain (NfL) levels, enhances motor performance, and prolongs lifespan in mouse models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This reagent is suitable for research related to Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
