Farnesyl Transferase-1 Inhibitor
FTI-2148 is a potent inhibitor of farnesyl transferase-1 with an IC50 of 1.4 nM, and it also targets geranylgeranyl transferase-1 with an IC50 of 1.7 μM. This dual inhibition affects the post-translational modification of RAS proteins, making it a valuable tool for studying the RAS signaling pathway.
