Ganglioside
Ganglioside GT1b (bovine) is a member of the ganglioside family, primarily targeting neuronal cells. It plays a crucial role in protecting against spinal synapse elimination following nerve injury and promotes hyaluronic acid synthesis along with the phosphorylation of Akt/mTOR in orbital fibroblasts. Ganglioside GT1b also enhances porcine oocyte maturation and activates EGFR and ERK1/2 signaling pathways. Its diverse applications in research span cancer, infectious diseases, immunology, endocrinology, and neurological disorders, including thyroid eye disease.
