PTP1B Inhibitor

Glycybenzofuran is a selective, competitive inhibitor of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) derived from Glycyrrhiza uralensis. This flavonoid exhibits significant inhibitory activity against PTP1B, leading to enhanced insulin-stimulated phosphorylation of Akt (pAkt).
