GSK983

Antiviral Agent

GSK983 is a broad-spectrum antiviral agent that targets viral replication within infected cells. It effectively inhibits the replication of adenovirus-5 (Ad-5) and polyoma virus SV40, as well as the growth of cell lines immortalized by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), human T-lymphotropic virus type 1 (HTLV-1), and human papillomavirus (HPV). Additionally, GSK983 promotes the expression of interferon-stimulated genes, making it a valuable tool for research into antiviral therapies and immune response modulation.
