HBX 28258

USP7 Inhibitor

HBX 28258 is a selective inhibitor of ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7), demonstrating an IC50 of 22.6 μM. By covalently binding to the cysteine residue at position 223 in the USP7 catalytic core, HBX 28258 effectively inhibits its deubiquitinating activity. This results in the degradation of MDM2 protein and subsequent activation of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway. This compound is valuable for research investigating the regulation of protein stability and the role of USP7 in cancer biology.
