HCV Inhibitor
HCV-IN-45 is a potent inhibitor targeting the hepatitis C virus (HCV). It demonstrates significant antiviral activity, with EC50 values of 0.134 μM and 0.027 μM against 1a and 1b HCV pseudoparticles, respectively. Additionally, HCV-IN-45 effectively inhibits cell culture-adapted HCV (HCVcc) with EC50 values of 0.024 μM and 0.012 μM for 1a/2a and 1b/2a strains, respectively. Its primary mechanism involves blocking HCV entry into hepatocytes, thereby preventing viral replication and cell-to-cell spread, making it a valuable tool for HCV research and therapeutic development.
