Hexaflumuron

Insecticide

Hexaflumuron is an insect growth regulator (IGR) that effectively inhibits chitin synthesis during the molting process of insects. This compound disrupts the normal development of target pest species by preventing the formation of a critical structural component in their exoskeletons. Hexaflumuron is widely utilized in agricultural and pest control research for its ability to control insect populations and mitigate crop damage. Its role in chitin biosynthesis makes it a valuable tool for studies focused on insect development and pest management strategies.
