Shh/PTCH1 Inhibitor
HL2-m5 is an inhibitor of the sonic hedgehog/patched (Shh/PTCH1) interaction, exhibiting a Kd of 170 nM for Shh. This compound effectively disrupts the activation of the Hedgehog signaling pathway and inhibits the transcription of Gli-controlled genes, with an IC50 of 230 nM. HL2-m5 serves as a valuable tool for research focused on developmental biology, cancer biology, and the modulation of signaling pathways associated with abnormal cellular growth.
