Icrocaptide

P-selectin Inhibitor

Icrocaptide (ITF1697) is a selective P-selectin inhibitor that disrupts the Ca2+-dependent fusion of Weibel-Palade bodies with the plasma membrane. This peptide is effective in the early phases of endothelial activation, leading to the inhibition of both P-selectin and von Willebrand factor secretion. Icrocaptide is suitable for research exploring various microvascular disorders and their underlying mechanisms.
