IMPDH2-IN-2
IMPDH Inhibitor
IMPDH2-IN-2 is a potent inhibitor of inosine 5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), exhibiting an apparent Ki value of 14 μM. It demonstrates moderate antibacterial activity, with minimum inhibitory concentrations of 6.3 and 11 μM in minimal GAST/Fe and rich 7H9/ADC/Tween media, respectively. Due to its mechanism of action, IMPDH2-IN-2 is being investigated as a potential therapeutic agent against tuberculosis.
