Inotilone

Mmp2/9 Inhibitor

Inotilone is a selective inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases MMP-2 and MMP-9, which are key enzymes involved in the metastatic progression of lung cancer. This compound enhances the activity of antioxidant enzymes, contributing to its anti-metastatic properties. Additionally, Inotilone inhibits IκBα phosphorylation and the nuclear translocation of NFκB p65, influencing various signaling pathways including FAK, PI3K/AKT, MAPKs, and NFκB. Inotilone is suitable for research applications focused on cancer metastasis and treatment strategies.
