AChE/BuChE Inhibitor

Ipidacrine hydrochloride is a potent inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE), with IC50 values of 1 μM and 1.9 μM, respectively. This compound also acts as a partial agonist at M2-cholinergic receptors and exhibits reversible cholinesterase inhibition. Ipidacrine hydrochloride facilitates neuromuscular transmission and demonstrates moderate analgesic properties.
