iST2-1

ST2 Inhibitor

iST2-1 is a selective ST2 inhibitor that effectively disrupts the interaction between ST2 and IL-33, exhibiting an IC50 value of 46.65 μM. This compound acts as an immunomodulator by reducing the proliferation of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells while enhancing regulatory T cell populations, specifically increasing Foxp3+CD4+ cells in the gastrointestinal tract. iST2-1 has demonstrated the ability to lower plasma levels of soluble ST2 and IFN-γ, thereby mitigating graft-versus-host disease severity and improving survival in associated animal models. This reagent is valuable for research focused on graft-versus-host disease mechanisms and therapies.
