KPC-2 Inhibitor

KPC-2-IN-1 is a specific inhibitor of KPC-2 enzymes, characterized as a boronic acid derivative with a Ki value of 0.032 μM. It significantly enhances the antibacterial activity of cefotaxime against KPC-2 expressing Escherichia coli. Furthermore, KPC-2-IN-1 demonstrates favorable tolerance in human HEK-293 cells, making it a valuable tool for investigating E. coli resistance mechanisms to β-lactam antibiotics.
