Thromboxane A2 inhibitors
KY 234 is a potent thromboxane A2 production inhibitor, exhibiting an IC50 of 5 μM. This compound demonstrates significant inhibitory effects on leukotriene D4 (LTD4), histamine, and antigen-induced bronchoconstriction in guinea pig models, with IC50 values of 6.0 mg/kg, 2.5 mg/kg, and 6.3 mg/kg, respectively.
