Latanoprost acid

FP Agonist

Latanoprost acid is a selective FP prostanoid receptor agonist that primarily targets the FP receptor. It exhibits significant biological activity by inhibiting RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis and functionality through the modulation of the ERK, AKT, JNK, and p38 signaling pathways, subsequently affecting the c-fos/NFATc1 pathway. Additionally, Latanoprost acid is utilized for therapeutic applications aimed at reducing intraocular pressure in conditions such as glaucoma.
