Levocabastine

cell adhesion, allergic conjunctivitis, eosinophil infiltration, airway hyperresponsiveness,

Levocabastine is a potent and selective histamine H1-receptor antagonist that also targets neurotensin receptor subtype 2 (NTR2) with a Ki of 17 nM for mNTR2. This compound exhibits significant biological activity as a VLA-4 antagonist, effectively inhibiting eosinophil infiltration in allergic conjunctivitis. Levocabastine is applicable in research related to cell adhesion, eosinophil-mediated inflammation, and airway hyperresponsiveness, making it a valuable tool for studying allergic diseases and respiratory conditions.
