LMP-420

TNF-α Inhibitor

LMP-420 is a selective inhibitor of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α). It effectively reduces the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and IL-2, while promoting the expression of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10, and the anti-apoptotic proteins SOCS-1 and Mn-SOD. Additionally, LMP-420 downregulates chemokines like IP-10 and MCP-1, which diminishes immune cell infiltration. This reagent is valuable for studying conditions such as type 1 diabetes mellitus, inflammatory diseases including colitis, and co-infections involving HIV and Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
