Mal-PEG1-Mal

PEG Derivative

Mal-PEG1-Mal is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative featuring maleimide groups at both ends, designed for bioconjugation applications. The maleimide functional groups facilitate Michael addition reactions with sulfhydryl (-SH) groups, allowing for highly specific and stable conjugation with proteins, peptides, or other biomolecules. This reagent is particularly useful in the development of targeted therapeutics, drug delivery systems, and the construction of complex biomolecular assemblies.
