MEDS433

hDHODH Inhibitor

MEDS433 is a selective inhibitor of human dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (hDHODH), exhibiting an IC50 of 1.2 nM. This compound demonstrates significant antiviral activity against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) strains A and B, operating within the nanomolar range. MEDS433 enhances the expression of antiviral proteins derived from interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs), effectively diminishing RSV replication. This makes MEDS433 a valuable tool for research on antiviral therapies and the mechanisms of viral replication inhibition.
