Apelin Receptor Agonist
ML233 is a potent non-peptide agonist of the apelin receptor (APJ) with an EC50 value of 3.7 μM. It exhibits greater than 21-fold selectivity over the angiotensin 1 (AT1) receptor, which is demonstrated by its selectivity profile of greater than 79 μM. This compound is valuable in research applications investigating the role of apelin signaling in cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders.
