Naringenin chalcone

Flavonol Intermediate

Naringenin chalcone is a flavonol intermediate that plays a critical role in flavonoid biosynthesis. This compound has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells and inhibit the production of MCP-1 and nitric oxide (NO), contributing to its anticancer properties, particularly against glioblastoma. Additionally, naringenin chalcone demonstrates anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activities, making it a valuable reagent for research in cancer therapy and inflammation modulation.
