NHI-2
LDHA Inhibitor
NHI-2 is a selective inhibitor of lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA) with an IC50 of 14.7 µM, exhibiting significantly lower inhibition of LDHB (IC50 = 55.8 µM). This compound demonstrates potent anti-glycolytic properties, enhancing apoptosis and inducing cell cycle arrest in the S and G2 phases. NHI-2 exhibits broad-spectrum anti-proliferative effects on various cancer cell lines and influences key metabolic parameters such as extracellular acidification rate and ATP production. Additionally, NHI-2 has shown efficacy in suppressing tumor growth in murine models of B78 melanoma.
