Olodanrigan sodium

AT2R Antagonist

Olodanrigan sodium is a selective, orally active antagonist of the angiotensin II type 2 receptor (AT2R). This compound demonstrates significant analgesic activity, particularly in the context of neuropathic pain. Its mechanism involves the inhibition of augmented AngII/AT2R-mediated activation of p38 and p42/p44 MAPK pathways, which contributes to the reduction of dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neuron hyperexcitability and sprouting. Olodanrigan sodium is being explored for therapeutic applications in managing neuropathic pain.
