PHPS1 sodium

Shp2 Inhibitor

PHPS1 sodium is a potent and selective inhibitor of the protein tyrosine phosphatase Shp2, with a competitive inhibition constant (Ki) of 0.73 μM. It exhibits specificity over related phosphatases, including Shp1, PTP1B, and the mutant Shp2-R362K, with Ki values of 5.8 μM, 10.7 μM, and 5.8 μM, respectively. This compound is valuable for studies in cancer research, particularly those involving signaling pathways mediated by Shp2, and can be utilized in evaluating potential therapeutic interventions in diseases associated with aberrant Shp2 activity.
