Pralidoxime methanesulfonate
AChE Reactivator
Pralidoxime methanesulfonate is a potent reactivator of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) that functions through direct nucleophilic attack by the oxime moiety on the phosphorus center of organophosphate-bound AChE. This reagent effectively restores AChE activity inhibited by nerve agents, making it critical in therapeutic interventions for organophosphate poisoning.
