Razuprotafib sodium

VE-PTP Inhibitor

Razuprotafib sodium is a highly selective inhibitor of vascular endothelial protein tyrosine phosphatase (VE-PTP) with an IC50 of 17 pM. It enhances TIE2 receptor activation and promotes ANG1-induced signaling, stimulating the phosphorylation of key pathway molecules such as AKT, eNOS, and ERK. Additionally, Razuprotafib sodium exhibits moderate inhibition of the related phosphatase PTP1B with an IC50 of 780 nM, demonstrating exceptional selectivity for VE-PTP compared to various other phosphatases, aside from HPTPη and HPTPγ. This compound holds relevance for research areas involving vascular biology and angiogenesis.
