RdRP-IN-9

RdRp Inhibitor

RdRP-IN-9 is a reversible covalent allosteric inhibitor targeting RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp). This compound exhibits significant anti-coronavirus activity, with an EC50 value of 0.68 μM against HCoV-OC43. RdRP-IN-9 acts by reversibly acylating Cys12 in the NiRAN domain of non-structural protein 12 (nsp 12), resulting in a sustained antiviral effect. Additionally, it shows synergistic activity when used in combination with other antiviral agents such as Molnupiravir, making it a valuable tool for research in therapeutic strategies against coronavirus infections.
