SC144 hydrochloride
GP130 Inhibitor
SC144 hydrochloride is a novel, orally active gp130 (IL6-beta) inhibitor that target the gp130 receptor. By binding to gp130, it induces phosphorylation at serine 782 and leads to deglycosylation, effectively inhibiting Stat3 phosphorylation and its nuclear translocation. This inhibition subsequently prevents the expression of downstream target genes. SC144 hydrochloride demonstrates significant efficacy in blocking gp130 ligand-triggered signaling and has been shown to induce apoptosis in human ovarian cancer cells, making it valuable for cancer research and therapeutic studies.
