SNO Protein Probe

SNOTRAP is a selective chemical probe designed to capture S-nitrosylated (SNO) proteins, facilitating the study of S-nitrosylation in biological systems. This reagent has successfully identified over 1,181 SNO proteins and 1,714 SNO sites in mouse brain models, providing a valuable tool for proteomic analyses. SNOTRAP is particularly relevant for research into nitrosative stress-related conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, endotoxic shock, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and sickle cell disease.
