Solimastat

MMP Inhibitor

Solimastat is a potent metalloproteinase (MMP) inhibitor that effectively blocks both constitutive and antibody-stimulated shedding of CD30 from cell surfaces, exhibiting an IC50 of 180 nM. This compound enhances the persistence of the anti-CD30 antibody Ki-3 on targeted cells and promotes its internalization. Additionally, Solimastat increases the cytotoxicity of Ki-3.dgA towards CD30+ L540 cells. It serves as a valuable reagent for research focused on CD30+ malignancies.
