Spirapril hydrochloride
ACE Inhibitor
Spirapril hydrochloride is a potent angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It functions by competitively binding to ACE, thereby inhibiting the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, leading to significant antihypertensive effects. As an orally active prodrug of Spiraprilat, Spirapril hydrochloride is widely used in research related to hypertension and congestive heart failure.
